Manchester United search for a striker could lead them to the Italian league once again just like was the case with Rasmus Hojlund a couple of seasons ago.

According to Calcio Mercato Man United are likely to make a late approach for Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram who has a £73 million buyout clause.

Thuram is popular in the Premier League the outlet reported. The teams potentially interested in the number 9 who has a clause of €85 million are Arsenal and Manchester United who are looking for a centre-forward the source says.

Man United have been linked with moves for Liam Delap and Bryan Mbeumo but so far they only landed Cunha as the transfer window gradually enters its frantic stage.
